Welcome to CreatetheDawn!

I am Dawn Anderson
Positive Poet, Author,
Nature-lover,
and Life Adventurer.

Welcome to my homepage. I guess there should be piles of information about me and my philosophies of life, but the poems really tell that story. Please poke around and discover your favorite poems in my blog archives. Or buy a whole collection in my books to touch and keep and share.

+Books featuring collections of my positive poetry as well as my guided journal, Change Your Life Journal. As you can see from poking around my blog, my work is a mix of wit, wisdom, and wonder. The collections in my books offer that inspiration and an appreciation of the beauty right in front of us. These books contain my everyday poetry for everyday people. Gift them to yourself or friends and family.

+Check out my blog. Hit the blue “Follow” box in the right-hand corner to follow me to a happy, juicy life. Together we will write and create. We will teach and learn.  We will experience adventures and feed our healthy spirit.

Loves,
Dawn

    • Fran, I am so excited that you will be joining journey. There is a long skinny blue rectangle box on the top of the right side of my home page on my blog. The box has the W with a circle around it WordPress symbol plus the words “follow CreatetheDawn.” Click on the box to follow me. It will ask you for your email address then send you a link every time I post something. If this doesn’t work, email me at createthedawn@gmail.com. Have a fabulous Spring day! – Dawn

    • Itsa plan Fran. I will begin posting a poem a day on April 1st for the entire month of April. Each poem will be inspired by an international postage stamp. So, if you don’t get an email that I posted on April 1st, we will know it is not working and go to plan B.

    • Mark, you sparked an idea. I need to write a positivity training class and use your positive words dictionary to help folks find and use positive language. If we speak positive, our minds will follow. Thanks again for reaching out. -Dawn

      • Mark, I am teaching a 3 day poetry retreat next March and plan on using your positive dictionary for an “eatable words” exercise. The exercise warms up our writing mind for strong, descriptive, “eatable” words instead of the same old bland words. -Dawn
