Green Sailboat at Hilo, Hawaii

Poems from our Hawaii trip to the Big Island. Poems in paradise. We were lucky to sneak in this trip before the Delta variant of Covid19 flared. Hopefully they take you there in images. Enjoy!

Green Sailboat at Hilo
It has been there
anchored,
rocking like a babe
in protected seas
mast ready,
sails rolled neatly
waiting pertly
in front of Mauna Kea
as alpenglow descends
upon Tutu Pele
through the tropical day
until darkness hides her
to host the stars.
