Short yet powerful poem. By definition a pandemic shows us how interconnected we really are yet we cannot shake that drive to create villains. Why is the fight so seductive? Can peace be our collective goal? Do we really need opposites? Maybe there cannot be love without hate. I don’t know.
Birch Interconnectedness
Birch
interconnectedness
everything we do
makes a difference
ripples
we branch and support
and die from the top
our roots hold hands
our paper-thin skin
ripples
