Poetry writing month, Self-Care, Self-Calm theme as part of the collective whole during Coronavirus.

This morning the word “Grace” came to me. Today would be a good day to give myself grace. The concept of Grace seemed vague, though, so I did a little research that ensued in this poem. Like anything in this interconnected web-of-life, Grace is about more than me. It starts with me giving myself Grace so that I am able to give it to others. We all have this healing power in us just waiting to be put to use.

Honor thyself.

Divine grace
Strength to withstand trials
Wisdom in making choices
Power to heal
with lovingkindness,
gentle words,
and forgiveness.

the divine gift
we can give endlessly
to self and all.
