Snow Flurries

Winter really is here. Snow flurries today, so lovely and dreamy (and hard to photograph). Here’s the fun little poem they inspired…

Snow Flurries

Snow Flurries
like snow fairies,
like winged maple seeds
fluttering downward,
like a swarm of white mosquitoes
a drifting kind of flight
tossed by the swirling breeze
eventually landing ever so gently
like milkweed fluff
And me
watching
giddy as the floating flakes
sitting snuggled in my
fluffy white robe.
