Charm against bad juju
National Poetry Writing Month
Inspired by prompt from NaPoWriMo.net

On the last day of June
raise your face up to the moon
and purse your lips
and close one eye
and then confess a lie.
This small rite
may seem contrite
but my dear
all the year
its guarantee
for you to be
lucky
