Thank you Universe for the frying pan over the head

This journey of change and transition requires getting out of my own way, identifying and letting go of assumptions, and going through some yuck to get to the good. Hope this poem helps with your journey.

I choose this photo because it dawned on me that embracing my wanderlust, moving toward deep love, and using gratitude to get through pain were my aids in this journey.  Notice the rocks have these words on them. The dice (die) is taking chances and the pin is sometimes needing to wing it without waiting for perfection. The sea shells represent new places, people and adventures.

Thank you Universe for the frying pan over the head

Sometimes we hold too tightly to the stories we tell ourselves.
Sometimes we feel responsible for people who no longer need us.
Sometimes we judge ourselves by worn-out social morals designed to hold us back.
Sometimes we are simply afraid of our potential or think we are too small.

Sometimes we need to be pushed out of our stuck.
We need the place in which we are spinning to burst into flames.
Pain is the catalyst, the railway, the road to paradise.

Move!
Move toward yourself,
toward your dreams
even if you don’t know what your dreams are.
Move! and you will begin to discover them.

Put yourself into uncomfortable situations
Meet new people
See new places
Try new experiences
Open your eyes and look around
Move, believe in yourself, flourish.
Move right now!
