How to save the sea grass

How to save the sea grass…
and with it humanity
Studio on Slough Road
Cape Cod, Massachusetts

Many places to rest,
rest your legs,
rest your eyes,
rest your heart.
Give your worries, your doubt
to the sea grass.
Fill the space that opens
with twilight.
See the shadows
long and sharp.
See the rocks and roots.
Create a niche for yourself
under the shoreline tree toppled by last year’s hurricane.
Morph into the shore
and let the tide layer grass and sand over you.
You will not erode.
You will flow with the seasons of nature
and pass into your next form
consciously, as all.
